The Talents we are supporting are:
Ms. Paromita Biswas, studying in Belur Boys School, Belur, Howrah in class 11(science stream). She secured 92% in Madhyamik Examinations.
Ms. Ishani Deb, studying in Belur Boys School, Belur, Howrah in class 11(science stream). She secured 89% in Madhyamik Examinations.
Ms. Mallika Halder, studying in Belur Boys School, Belur, Howrah in class 11(commerce stream). She secured 73% in Madhyamik Examinations.
Ms. Soumita Dolai, studying Journalism (B.A) 1st year in South City College (girls). She secured 81% in her Higher Secondary Examinations.
The Activities that are going on:
Mr. Raj Chakroborty, a student of class 12 was severely injured in a road accident. He has to undergo a series of surgeries to come back to normal life. We extended financial assistance to meet the medical expenses of his treatment
Mr, Sumit Halder, a 13 year old boy is suffering from blood cancer. We stood by his side. On 20.12.2015 we handed over cash assistance to his father to meet the expenses.
Events
1st November,2015: The 1st Blood donation camp organised by our organisation at 10 AM in Quarter no. 80, Railway Colony, Liluah, Howrah(in collaboration with Chotoder Mahal Sab Peyechir Asar,Liluah). The programme was inaugurated by Rev. Swami Gatabhayananda Maharaj by lighting the earthen lamp.Four meritorious girl students along with their mothers were felicitated for their praiseworthy efforts to continue their studies against all odds.Dress materials to students and sarees to their mothers were handed over.A chorus song was performed by the members of Nivedita Sangha followed by a solo dance by Ms. Ishani Dutta. A total 59 donors turned up to donate blood. The programme was concluded by Mrs.Krishna Mukhopadhyay(President-Nivedita Sangha), thanking all the donors, members of Nivedita Sangha and others for their active support .
Helping the un-priviliged: At Howrah station we see many kids live an unhygienic life. Our members went to them and tried to help them with minimum basic sanitary needs such as soap,oil etc. along with the help of TEARS, Howrah
